Kia Brake Caliper Refurbs and Parts

Super happy with the refurb of my AP Racing 4-pots for my Mini Cooper S R53. The team at BCS did a cracking job and were great to deal with throughout — especially given the number of questions I had and the moments of indecision whilst I made my mind up (sorry, Marc!). It was a proper nut-and-bolt refurb with new pistons, seals, bleed screws and a flawless repaint. Hard to believe the calipers are 15 years old — they came back looking brand new. The quality of the work is genuinely world-class and the turnaround time was impressively quick. Would happily recommend BCS to anyone considering brake refurbishment. A great experience from start to finish and workmanship to match.

Sent our 986 caliper of for the "high end" service. New rubber parts, some new pistons & Cobalt Blue paint with stenciled logos. Blown away by them, they honestly look incredible. My only critisism would be the pad retaining pin holes were full of paint, so I had to crack out the reamer to clean out the hole. No biggie though.

Really please with the Refub of my Porsche 993 brake callipers. The colour and finish is excellent and the communication was superb. My callipers had rusted in bleed nipples and brake lines- but this was all sorted for a reasonable additional cost. Highly recommended.

This is my 5th time using BCS, and this time in particular was due to a warranty job. Communication was excellent and the calipers were collected within a 2 days of sending the email with zero fuss. Calipers were finished in high end paint with the colours BMW Long Beach Blue and Silver Grey for the stencilling. 5/5 for service and finish once again.

Edit: Got a response from owner with an explanation to the below points so have amended review to reflect this. Had my front and rear calipers refurbished through them. 10/10 for the quality of the paint itself even though I went with their most basic package. The rebuild of the pistons etc was also ok. Turnaround time was amazing. Disappointed to see they hadn't blanked off the area for the copper washer for the brake line even after I asked them to leave this area clear. Meant an extra few hours for me to manually scrape and sand off the area for the copper seal. Also found that they had blasted the threads for the bleed nipple which is fine, but they hadn't re-run a tap down the thread after making it super rough to turn the nipple. I think 9 times out of 10 the above is probably fine and they do offer a good warranty, however for the money paid and the fact they are "brake" specialists I expected a little better.

Just had my new brake callipers on my Audi A5 high end painted by the Brake calliper specialists in Nottingham. I personally dropped them off and spoke with the team. They showed me their latest Audi logo, which made me change my mind from having the Audi rings to having the text with Audi on the front callipers. When I picked them up, I knew I had made the right choice. They look awesome, and I am the 1st in the UK with them. Awesome service and could not recommend the BCS team enough. I am thoughrly happy with the finished work.

Absolutely five star workmanship and service. I have had my 1997 BMW Z3 from new and I like to keep it original. When one caliper failed I took it to BCS. Their service was absolutely amazing. Lovely people who returned my caliper in wonderful packaging and pristine condition and it works like a dream again. Absolutely first class service. Had the VXR Bembro 4pot calipers serviced and painted with the high end paint. They look fantastic and work a treat. Quick Turn around time and was updated throughout the process. Definitely recommend this company to others.

I can’t recommend this company enough, after doing loads of research on who to trust, I sent my Audi R8 callipers off on the Monday and they sent them back on the same Friday all finished . I love the colour and the quality of work and for a bargain price, If you are thinking about getting your callipers painted then use these guys, my friend is also going to send his callipers off as he was so impressed with mine. Sent my 996 calipers for my M3 off to BCS. I appreciated the follow up emails from the initial quote and that there was a grace period between receiving a quote and accepting it. It was a really easy process and it was great that picking up/delivery was organised by BCS. The calipers themselves turned out amazingly well and I am very, very pleased with them - in hand they look ten times better than the photos - and all was done in very quick timing for a very good price.

Great experience with BCS (Brake Caliper Specialists): They made an amazing job with satisfying continuous communication on a set of worn Porsche calipers I gathered here and there to make a new set for my Audi RS2 "big brakes". They advised me on time that the rear calipers were mismatched and accepted to send them back to me. Then the project has been put on hold for 4 months the time I could source the right part to fit with the rest of the set. Now I just unboxed my parcel and I feel like a kid the morning of the 25th december while opening my presents : happy!
